I’m always happy to welcome younger girls into the salon for a special hair experience. I truly believe that with the right guidance, girls can learn from a young age how to care for, style, and love their hair. A positive salon visit can give them a real confidence boost and help them grow into their own unique style.
A little note for parents:
Mums and dads—you’re absolutely part of the process, and your input is always welcome. But once your little lady is in my chair, she’s my guest. I focus on building trust with her, listening to what she wants, and offering gentle, age-appropriate advice.
Of course, a parent or guardian must stay for the entire appointment, and we do have some behaviour expectations in place—just to keep everyone safe and comfortable.
